Stockings are one of my favorite things about Christmas Morning. I don’t know how your family did it, but in mine we could tear into our stockings right away as we waited for the rest of the family to get up. I always loved that and wanted to continue the tradition in our home – even though we kinda wake up at the same time together. haha. I am all about one stop shopping and so this year I filled Bruce’s Stocking entirely with goodies I found at Huckberry! (Remember when last year he got a bunch of goodies from there?! Yeah, that’s how I roll 😉 )
I am a huge fan of the uniqueness of a stocking. You put fun, quirky, and practical items all in a giant sock that hangs on your fireplace – it’s bizarre and awesome! As I was picking out some fun goodies for Bruce’s stocking I got a little crazy and created an “nontraditional” stocking stuffer set-up. I also used my quirky points on the “eat your beer” granola bars…. yes, eat your beer. My practical points on everything (I mean it is perfect for the outdoorsy man) and my fun points on those socks #allthelines
Stuffing a stocking is a pretty self explanatory job, but I wanted to share all the little items that went into my stocking for him so that as you paln for the holidays you can create one of the best stockings he has ever opened! Oh, I mean, “Santa” can create one of the best stockings he has ever opened…
What is inside:
- Drinking Chocolate
- Explorer’s Cap
- Dopp Kit
- Chocolate Coffee Stout Bars
- Automahn Socks
- Head Light
- Kanken Backpack and/or stocking * Note: This is where you can use a bag to replace the stocking for a fun little twist, or you can just shove it all into the stocking! It is up to you!
- Local Beers
How do you do stockings in your family? Do you have any traditions? Have you checked out Huckberry yet for your one-stop-shop?!
next year i’m going to put “stocking from Beth” on my list 😉

You’re so creativity and quirky, full of great ideas. Can you adopt me LOL ‘just kidding. Enjoy
Well you are just the sweetest 😉
This is great! I’m always the worst at stocking stuffers for guys. These are great ideas.

Thanks Melissa!
This is so fun! Stockings can be one of the best parts of Christmas morning. They were what we were allowed to open while mom made breakfast and dad showered on Christmas morning.

I am excited to do stockings this year too!!! 🙂
