We've hit a new milestone over here folks, Hilde has lost her first tooth! Just two weeks shy of her fifth birthday, the tooth that was wiggly for only two days fell out during quiet time. Hilde was so excited that she rushed out exclaiming she lost her tooth! When we asked to see it, she said she didn't know where it was - she really may have lost it! Millie quickly found it in the carpet much to everyone's relief and we took a picture to remember it forever. The tooth was wiggly for several ... continue reading...
A Foggy Morning At Eagle Lake Camp
It has been some amount of years (pre-pandemic for sure) since we made it up to Eagle Lake Camp. The place where Bruce and I met. The place we fell in love. The place the Lord changed and grew our hearts individually and together. The place where we forged uncountable lifelong relationships. How We Use The Biggest Story Bible Storybook in Our Homeschool
We have been doing the Peaceful Preschool this year with both Hilde (age 4) and Millie (age 3). Maybe I'll do 100 books - 50 picture books and 50 chapter books. I don't review every picture book I read (for obvious reasons) but maybe ... continue reading...
A National Parks First Birthday for Our Wild One
He may not look wild when he is eating his cake, but take my word for it - this boy is a wild one! I am still swimming in shock that my baby is one! After three babies so far, I can fully affirm the cliché parenting saying, "the days (and nights!!!) are long but the years are short!" Amen and Amen! Motherhood has been one of the greatest journeys I have ever gone on and I've also never been so tired before!! If you have been here awhile, you know I have a thing for birthdays! Birthdays are a ... continue reading...
