We went a little all out for 4th of July this year and have a fun Independence Day Booklist to share with you! It may be that Thorin finally started sleeping through the night and I have found myself with unknown (and unremembered) amounts of new energy OR it could be the fact that my pre-school age children LOVE LEARING ALL THE THINGS ABOUT HOLIDAYS. Either way, I fully embraced it because holidays are my thing! We've been trying to rent books from the library for the holidays but it is so ... continue reading...
The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave
I'm still missing the 4th of Julys we spent in Kansas with fireworks and pretty sparkler photos, but I'm loving our Colorado celebrations with our ever growing family. June Booklist

I love seeing the storms roll in over the mountains and pour on us before they continue on down the plains. I love when the grass starts ... continue reading...
The Splash Pad at Panorama Park
Hello there SUMMERTIME! The splash pads and pools have all opened and despite the verrryyyy wet months we've been having, we're still getting out there and enjoying summer. And by very wet, I mean I cannot remember the last day it did not rain, which isn't normal for us here in Colorado! Even in these pictures you can see the storm rolling in - the storm that didn't even show up on my weather app (!!!) and the one that made us throw things in the stroller and run to the car before the floodgates ... continue reading...
