Looking back on 2018

I’m always a big fan of getting my “top 9” on Instagram every year. I remember going into 2018 knowing I was pregnant and imagining what this top 9 would look like – photos of my growing bump and a new baby. And as silly as it sounds, I needed to envision that end goal as I was dealing with morning sickness and pure exhaustion in my first trimester. How fun it is too look back on these photos – some before we knew we were having a girl, most before we met Hilde, and some of her growing up so fast already!

I spent the entirety of 2018 pregnant or mothering an infant so this year was completely different than any year before. This year brought huge changes for my blog in terms of content and also time commitment. And while I know this is a “looking back on 2018” post and not a “looking into 2019” post, I do have to say that this next year I will be more mama and less entrepreneur. Don’t worry! I’ll still be here – I just will be spending more time momming and less time trying to grow this blog. So feel free to share it with a friend if you would like – I’m all about that free promotion! 😉

That time when found out she was breach at 41 weeks and went in for a c-section! Wasn’t planning on that!

Hip Dysplasia ||

I love that this one made it into the top posts because I almost didn’t post it. But then thought I would have to explain her brace and I had no idea how long she would have to wear it. Thankfully she has graduated from her season in the brace but we are keeping an eye on her hips and helping her continue healthy hip growth!

This one is fun and it’s a popular one too! I think we can all agree that trying on clothes at home is better than trying them on in store!

This post was an exciting one to write! It was so fun to get the word out there and explain why I was sick & absent the last three months! haha!

I was obsessed with these overalls my entire pregnancy! This also was the item you loved most this year and SO many of you preggers bought them for your wardrobes! I wish we could all meet up and match! haha.

Instax Mini ||

I love this little camera and used it for all kinds of memories this past year. The battery died at the end of the year and this is the reminder I need to change it!
