Last year I made this Halloween themed homemade playdough and I didn't end up posting about it here on the blog, which is a phenomenon that happens more than you think ;) Homemade playdough is one of my go-to activities for my kids. It is always fun to whip up a new batch of homemade playdough and let them go crazy. Playdough is a wonderful sensory activity and has the power to captivate the minds and attention spans of toddlers - especially when you include fun toys, cookie cutters, and tools ... continue reading...
September Booklist
September has already come and gone, can you believe it? Thankfully I read Anne of Green Gables this month for the first time so I can quote all the Anne October lines without feeling like a fake - "I'm so glad we live in a world with Octobers!!" Bruce's parents, aunt & uncle, and cousins ... continue reading...
A Day of Peaceful Press Preschool
I've been wanting to share more about our homeschool journey here on the blog but since it is all still very new to us and my time is the opposite of unlimited (sounded fancier than saying limited ;),) I haven't gotten around to it until now. I took these photos in July as you can see by the warm weather clothing and the more damning dates on my homeschool planner. I thought about backdating the blog post (I do that often to keep birthday and holiday posts in their respective timeline) but felt ... continue reading...
