Frosted Window Panes

Tradition. I hold on tight to that word for the better and for the worst. I was built to adore traditions - to look ahead and know what the next year has in store. It is comfort for this planner heart and builds the joy of anticipation. If I could, I would make everything tradition - and then end up burnt out each year trying to squeeze it all in ;) haha. So we just make some of the things tradition and I cherish them as the holidays fly by. ... continue reading...

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Winter has officially arrived in Colorado (and not just because today is the first day of Winter!) We've had our first, our second, and our third snow. Basement Bathroom Reveal

Drum roll please... ta-da! The first room of our basement on the blog! Guys, this project was huge and crazy and took way more of our time and sanity than we ever expected. It is now very livable but we still have a couple final touches. After 6 months of living in mess, those final touches don't seem that bad. The winter winds & snow also rolled in so we are waiting for warmer (& drier) days to cut & paint our trim! ... continue reading...

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

The other day I was at the grocery store and I saw the Pretzel Crisps (which are my favorite) sitting on a huge display in the middle and so I mindlessly threw some in my cart because "sale!" Then a wonderful idea dawned on my and I turned down the baking isle to look for the easiest melting chocolates they had. I was going to make some chocolate covered pretzels for my Bible Study girls as a little holiday treat! This is seriously one of the easiest holiday treats you can make and everyone ... continue reading...
