Tradition. I hold on tight to that word for the better and for the worst. I was built to adore traditions - to look ahead and know what the next year has in store. Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Winter has officially arrived in Colorado (and not just because today is the first day of Winter!) We've had our first, our second, and our third snow. I am notorious for staying in and cuddling up with a hot cup of hot coco on snow days but I also love to get outside breathe some fresh air after the storm. One of the things I love most about the holidays is all the excuses to party! Office parties, department parties, church parties, neighborhood parties, friend parties, and pretty much all the parties! Basement Bathroom Reveal
Drum roll please... ta-da! The first room of our basement on the blog! Guys, this project was huge and crazy and took way more of our time and sanity than we ever expected. It is now very livable but we still have a couple final touches. After 6 months of living in mess, those final touches don't seem that bad. Chocolate Covered Pretzels
The other day I was at the grocery store and I saw the Pretzel Crisps (which are my favorite) sitting on a huge display in the middle and so I mindlessly threw some in my cart because "sale!" Then a wonderful idea dawned on my and I turned down the baking isle to look for the easiest melting chocolates they had.
