Bruce & I live in a touristy state. There are so many fun things to do and see in Colorado that people from all over the world come to do! It is so fun to live in a beautiful place - we always have fun places to eat, local places to shop, beautiful hiking year round, easy access to the mountains, and lots of fun activities at our finger tips! Summer Up Close
This summer we've been enjoying the little things. Like meals on back porches, walks around the block, wearing extra sunscreen, attending pool parties, blowing bubbles, smelling fresh grass, and sitting on front porches during thunderstorms. Last year so much of these moments - weekends & nights - were wrapped up in the basement! It was a wonderful project but oh boy, did it take up so much of our time. We were in Cleveland for three days and we made sure to pack it with as much as possible so we could see all the things! We also had wedding festivities to attend! Lake Erie
When I first discovered that Cleveland is on the coast of one of the Great Lakes, I planned in my heart to make sure to see the water. I am a Colorado girl. We have lakes that look like ponds and a couple rivers. We don't have large bodies of water where you cannot see to the other side. I've always been in awe of massive amounts of water (you should see me when I go to the ocean!)
