The nesting bug has set in full fledged! When I was in the depths of my first trimester sickness, I couldn't even imagine having the energy to think about her room, let alone the energy to actually do it! Bruce and I were talking that day and while pregnancy has it's aches and pains, it is nothing like week 6-12 of my pregnancy. And in fact, what I thought I would never forget, I am starting to! I find myself saying "It wasn't that bad!" Which is crazy because in it I thought I could never have ... continue reading...
23 Weeks Pregnant at the Beach & Loving my Growing Belly
I'll be honest, it isn't always easy to watch (& feel) my body grow. Some days I see the the wondrous things my body is doing and other days I only see the number on the scale. Inspiration for Our Master Bedroom
In the great room move of 2018, our master bedroom is getting a clean up & refresh! We are also moving to the bigger room to make this more practical! ... continue reading...
My One Cup of Coffee a Day
Before I got pregnant, I knew I still wanted to continue my one cup of coffee in the morning even into pregnancy. Drinking a cup of coffee every day when I wake up is tradition - it is my routine- and I honestly feel off when I miss it. I used to drink a lot of coffee but needed to cut back for my health. I found that one cup of coffee became infinitely more special & grounding than when I could drink coffee all day long. Allowing myself to only have one cup made me savor each sip - not chug ... continue reading...
How to Make Camping Easier & Way More Doable this Summer
This post has been sponsored by Coleman®. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Camping is honestly something Bruce and I LOVE. Getting away and outside is so life giving for both of our souls. Away from our computers and cell phone service, sleeping under the stars, and breathing fresh air. There is more time to talk and less distractions, more things to explore, and also more times to walk side by side in silence hearing only the sound of our feet on the trail & the birds in the sky. But ... continue reading...
