I’m not going to lie, I was a bit jelly of all the people who started setting up for Christmas early this year. We got several early snows that really just put everyone in the mood for Christmas! But when you are moving the week of Thanksgiving, you cnanot really set up for Christmas! Haha!
I was a bit worried that it would be hard to get our act together enough to decorate for Christmas but I love this season too much not to try to make it work! lol. As we unpack boxes all around the house, I am also setting up Christmas decor! It’s fun!
We had a deadline on our townhome. Renters were moving in December 1st. That meant we needed to focus all our time getting that place ready for them! It was a relief to hand over the keys and we finally got some downtime on Sunday. That is when we went to pick out our tree!
I tried to hold my baby like I did last year ( in this photo that is still my phone screen saver!) but I could barely hold her like that a year ago! This 27 lbs baby who is in the 97% for weight is a little much for this preggo lady to hold like that! Haha!
We went back to Good Earth because we love shopping local. After talking to an employee, we settled on this adorable Concolor tree! I like the softer needles that don’t shed like crazy. The one we ended up with last year was such a mess, this one feels good and I like how fluffy it is! I haven’t finished decorating it yet but it’s looking cute!
I’m so glad we document this journey each year because it only gets cuter! Check out past years here: one, two, three, four, five, & six! What is your Christmas Tree tradition?!!
