The older I get, the more I’m learning to roll with the punches. Sure I would love to be comfortable and moved into our home with a functioning kitchen for the holiday but that is not our reality. Bruce will spend the morning getting our rental ready (work, work, work, work, work) and I’ll be baking pies in my mom’s oven while my parents help entertain Hilde! We’ll all meet up at Bruce’s parents for the Thanksgiving meal and it’s going to be great. A couple years ago I would have had a hard time with this plan BUT this year, it feels so perfect! I get to watch the Macy’s Day Parade and bake while my parents play with my energetic 1 year old and Bruce gets projects done. Haha!
