Gear up For the Adventure with a Huckberry Giveaway
Summertime is filled with lake trips, summer sun, and rad vacations but the adventures don't have to end as the seasons change. Maybe I've been spoiled by Colorado falls, and winters, and springs but each season brings something new to enjoy! The layers and terrain may change but outdoor adventures always remain good for the soul. ... continue reading...
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Mint ice cream is my favorite kind ever. I've kind of been putting off making it because I love it so much that I didn't want to mess it up. Turns out it was just as easy (if not as easy) as all the rest. When I was out at the Farmer's Market over the weekend, I picked up a bar of dark chocolate from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to sweeten the deal. It's been a hit here in the Mayberry home and I am going to need to make another batch here real soon - smooth, creamy, and minty! Just ... continue reading...
Where Hope Grows
“This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Godspeed Pictures, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #wherehopegrowsmovie http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV” Over this weekend I watched an early release of "Where Hope Grows." I knew that I was going to love it when Judah and the Lion started playing as the movie opened (SIDE NOTE: I know the banjo player in Judah and the Lion! His name is Nate and he is so kind. Ring in Spring
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group®, PEOPLE®, and Real Simple® but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #SpringintoMeTime http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV I don't know how things are where you call home, but I can tell you that this girl (me) is pulling out the spring-wear. In fact, this weekend Colorado Springs was rocking the 70 degree high and I was living in up in my shorts. I am sure we will still have one more big snow storm, but Spring ... continue reading...

Stitch Fix + Fancy Dates
I've lost count of how many Stitch Fix boxes that I have opened, but my last box turned out this top and it is beautiful. It was instantly brought into my capsule wardrobe. I have shared about it a bit here before but Stitch Fix is a great way to help you build a capsule wardrobe! I am very picky these days about what I let into my closet. There was a long time of my life that I was not that way and I wasted a lot of money on clothing I never wore. My closet rules are as follows: 1. I LOVE ... continue reading...
Harry Potter Style
Here is a bad joke for your Thursday: What do you get when you put two nerds in Thug Life Shirts in the middle of a zoo? Pictures in front of a hippo mosaic! Obviously. In serious news, Bruce and I wore our Harry Potter Shirts to the zoo and fully embraced our inner nerds. We got a lot of positive feedback - the way anything fandom brings out the fellow fans. and you BEST be believing that we will be wearing these shirts when we go to Harry Potter World (again) in December! Can ... continue reading...

stitch fix & my capsule wardrobe

little birthday parties
Bruce and I have tons of nieces and nephews. It is pretty much the best deal ever because we get to love on them, play with them, cuddle with them, and then leave them with their parents when they get whiney ;) We always say we don't need kids because we have this crazy bunch but let's be honest, we want to add to the cousin clan too... one day when we are grown ups ;) This is how birthday parties go in our family - parks, crazy, random, and way too much fun! They also include rockin' ... continue reading...

Now that I can count the days until Christmas on one hand, I am giddy with excitement. Friday night the hubs & I were able to check off another one of our Christmas traditions by walking around the Broadmoor - it is one of the most beautiful places in Colorado! (I also just like how cute my house looks with Christmas lights so I had to include it!) I know I talk a lot about how this is my first Christmas as a Mayberry but I think it is pretty important & exciting. we get to bring in ... continue reading...
