She done did it. Our Hilde Girl turned two. Was it really a year ago that I was putting all her monthly photos into a collage to share on her first birthday blog post?! Well that went fast! HAHA. But really, we have a two year old and my heart could about burst! She is kind, funny, energetic, curious, and in love with Elsa & Anna!
Things I want to remember about her now: She uses both hands to show that she is two years old (see photo evidence below. She loves to sing along with music and has a bunch of the lyrics down already! “You’ll be in my Heart” and “Love is an Open Door” are her most requested jams. Everyday she asks to go to the zoo or the park or the pool. She loves giving raspberries to Millie and anyone else who will let her. Elsa & Anna are frequent fliers in our nightly prayers list. She can count to three & name most colors. She tells people her favorite color is pink. She dances to any music she hears. She compliments my cooking all the time even when it is just a bag of popcorn. And she loves her daddy the most 😉
For her birthday this year Bruce and I wanted to give her something fun and something a bit grown up, so we got her this bike & helmet! Then we went to ride it around the park. These summer evenings have been the best time to get out of the house as a family and today was no exception. Millie crashed the party in her dino jammies because that is how she rolls! Hilde is still getting the hang of things but she loves her bike and I was thankful this balloon we bought 2 weeks ago was still floating around the house! It made for the perfect little birthday photosoot! New bike, pink helmet, floating balloon, and one happy child!
Happy Birthday Hilde girl! We forever so grateful for you!
