I am not enough. Yikes! The mantra these days is that we are enough, we can do anything, we deserve good things, and self love. While I like the idea of a lot of that, the truth is I am not enough. I cannot do all the things. I don't deserve good things - the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) And the greatest commandment - love God, love others requires me putting God & others before myself. When I champion the phrase " I / you am/are enough." I set us up for disappointment. Because I'm ... continue reading...
Getting Out with My Girls
Thank you buybuy BABY for sponsoring this post! We've been quarentining for about three weeks at this point and will be for at lest two or three weeks more. I kept meaning to do an our daily moments for March (the never ending month) but kept forgetting to have my camera out for the whole day and I kept telling myself there was more time to do it. Then I realized there was only one day left of the month so I made sure the camera was ready to go and finally captured ... continue reading...
The New Normal for Monthly Photos
We did monthly photos for Hilde and I shared them all in her 1st birthday blog post! When I found out I was pregnant with baby #2, I made a vow to keep taking pictures! I didn't want to have tons of photos of Hilde and none of Millie (you know the classic second, third, forth child problem) and that starts with those monthly photos! So we've been taking them so far & a billion more too! I'm pretty trigger happy when it comes to my camera these days - I'm sure a lot of it has to being ... continue reading...
