It's funny to think that Galentine's wasn't a thing before the 2010 episode of Parks & Rec and Leslie Knope's heart to celebrate "the best day of the year - ladies celebrating ladies!" It was a thing that grabbed the attnetion of women of all ages and Galentine's parties started popping up everywhere. Now Galentine's Day goes han-in-hand with the historic St. Valentine's holiday celebration. DIY valentine Wands
As a mama, one of the things I long for - and strive to do - is add a bit more childhood wonder into our days. However, my life can get so busy and distracted - I blink and days/ weeks pass by. Our Daily Moments was a series I did here for several months in which I documented a full day each month. I really liked the ... continue reading...
Yet Another zoo blog post
When the weather report boasted several days of sunshine and above freezing temps, a zoo trip mysteriously found itself on my calendar. As members of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, we find ourselves here more times than I can count or document! As the blog post title suggests, this isn't the first time I have made a blog post about the zoo and it won't be my last. It has been a significant place for Bruce and I since our engagement here in 2011 and as our family has grown, so have the ... continue reading...
