Over the last five years since Hilde was born, we have had plenty of experience with good toys that nurture and inspire our growing children, and some not-so-good toys that end up in the donate pile (or even trashcan!) Wackadoo! A Bluey Themed 5th Birthday
Our Hilde Joy is FIVE and you will never guess what her favorite show is ;) Like any household with children growing up in this decade, Bluey has taken over our home! We've got Bluey toys, Bluey games, Bluey books, Bluey "stuffies," and all the seasons we can own on DVD. The girls say things like "big fella," "swimmies," “for real life?,” “I’m busting,” and “wackadoo!” We play games like "keepy uppy" and pass the parcel. A Mama’s Back to School Prayer
I have a kindergartener. Can you believe it!? Goodness me, we have has so many milestones, memories, vacations, birthdays over here that I am having a hard time keeping up with it all! Thorin turned one, Hilde lost a tooth, Hilde turned five and started her first day of Kindergarten, we went to Breckenridge, threw two birthday parties less than a month apart, and .. um...I think that's all! No-Sew Tooth Fairy Pillow
We've hit a new milestone over here folks, Hilde has lost her first tooth! Just two weeks shy of her fifth birthday, the tooth that was wiggly for only two days fell out during quiet time. Hilde was so excited that she rushed out exclaiming she lost her tooth! When we asked to see it, she said she didn't know where it was - she really may have lost it! A Foggy Morning At Eagle Lake Camp
It has been some amount of years (pre-pandemic for sure) since we made it up to Eagle Lake Camp. The place where Bruce and I met. The place we fell in love. The place the Lord changed and grew our hearts individually and together. The place where we forged uncountable lifelong relationships. And the place were countless good things and cherished memories happened.
