After months of not seeing friends & family, if feels so good to have opened back up our circle again! We just need community - we are not meant to sit alone in our houses. We haven't seen Sarah and Blake since our Florida trip in September! And looking back on those photos here & here, feels like so long ago! Enjoying the slow
I've been catching myself enjoying these slow, quiet days. Both slow and quiet referring to my lack of plans and general obligations out of the home and not my two beautiful girls (because they are neither slow nor quiet!) Hilde can (and does) run circles around me and the house all day long and our Millie girl is growing faster than I want her too. a summer spent at the pool
This pool is easily one of my favorite places to spend our days. Here in Colorado we get a good three months of summer. Majority of the outdoor pools in our state open Memorial Day Weekend and close Labor Day Weekend. Unlike other states that enjoy outdoor pools year round, we savor our days because they come as quickly as they leave! Monica and I spend most of our pool trips together. Happy 4th of July!
Every summer we go to Kansas. Why in the summer? I have no idea. It is always SO.DANG.HOT! Really it is because the Mays come to Colorado around Christmas so the middle of summer is the halfway point and we can only go about 6 months without seeing each other! HAHA.
