COVID-19, Family, Pool, Ridings, Summer

Back at the Pool

After months of not seeing friends & family, if feels so good to have opened back up our circle again! We just need community – we are not meant to sit alone in our houses. We haven’t seen Sarah and Blake since our Florida trip in September! And looking back on those photos here & here, feels like so long ago! And also makes me a bit sad because COVID is messing with our Disney trip this year – poor Millie has never been to Disney and she is already 7 months old! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Back to current events, family came here to Colorado to visit & and meet our little Millie and we just loved every bit of it! We took them to the pool because it is one of our favorite activities this summer. We always love the pool but it feels even more like a respite this summer from the chaos of the world. It’s just normal being there. Kids being kids, no masks, and reduced numbers making it easy to social distance & enjoy!

Millie is growing before my eyes and they are both outgrowing these swimsuits I got for them at the beginning of the summer! It is crazy how quickly babies grow! Our 7 month old is now snacking with her big sis and their matching Once Upon a Farm pouches makes for the cutest photo moments so don’t mind all the photos (PS: Save 20% on Once Upon a Farm with code code: FRESHPICK20)

I’ve been really questioning this whole new world of blogging/Influencing and it can get so overwhelming. How much should I blog for me and how much should I blog for you? Sometimes I get caught in the tension and just never do anything because I’m waiting for the perfect post. So this is probably not the perfect post but I know I want to look back on this post later, so I am posting it now. No matter how successful my blog ever is, I’m ever grateful I learned photography so I could take photos like this of my family. And I guess that is all that matters.
