This past year has gone entirely too fast. It feels like just yesterday I was planning Hilde’s first birthday! 0-1 is a pretty big growth year but so is 1-2! My baby is no longer a baby! She is a full grown toddler and she runs around telling people she is two years old!
With COVID & quarantine, I didn’t know what kind of party we would be able to have. We ended up doing something at home with our families and it was wonderful! I’m sad we couldn’t invite all our friends but we’ll make up for that next year 😉 The best news was that my sister and my brother-in-law were visiting from out of town and got to join as well! It is so hard when family lives far away and doesn’t get to come to these things all the time so it was a gift to have them join this year!
We went with a donut theme for her second birthday because donuts are pretty & everyone loves them. Technically I do, but I am a weirdo 😉 You should have seen me in line at Dunkin Donuts the morning of her party. I wanted to order 3 dozen but they only had the half dozen boxes so I was walking out with this giant stack. I also was SO nervous that they would run out of donuts that I woke up early before anyone in the house to go pick them up! Typically I am the last one awake in this household! HAHA. But I stress about things like this.
There is our donut table all set up! With our donut loving 2 year old! My little sister made her that shirt, the donut stands were an Amazon find, I got the cake topper here, donut party supplies, and hit up Party City for the balloons!
We just did a donut party (donut grow up) for my little girl that turned one on march 12th.. We loved and the donuts was a bit hit. Your party looked great!
That is so fun! I love it! Everyone loved the donuts at our party too! So fun to have such an edible theme!!! Happy Birthday to your little one!!!!
Did the balloons come in a pack??
Hello Abby!
Thanks! They didn’t exactly come as a pack but Party City does bundles where you can get 10 latex balloons with a foil balloon (and they have other bundles they offer!) I picked the number balloon as my foil one and then the latex balloons are all different colors in the “pearl” section. I went in person and picked out the colors myself to make sure they matched. I asked them to bundle them into two bunches and leave the number separate because I wanted to space them out! I hope that helps!!
Where did you get the skirt your daughter wore? Everything looked great!
Thanks so much Laura! It was from HM! They don’t have this exact one anymore but this one is similar! https://bit.ly/3lxTRMT
