A Trip to the Zoo

While my sister was in town, we did a lot of that newborn stuff. You know – sitting around nursing babies, changing diapers, scheduling outings around nap times, sucking boogers out of noses, and trying to protect the infants from the toddler. A lot of it took place at home (like these cousin photos) but we also tried to adventure out on our own each day so as to not go crazy at home.

We went to the zoo with our three littles (and my mom). It was nice to have one-on-one defense on one of my first more adventurous outings after Millie was born! It was a beautiful Colorado Winter day, so we bundled up to head out & enjoy the sunshine. There was quite a bit more snow at the zoo than our house so we were glad we dressed accordingly!

We have a membership so we didn’t feel like we needed to see all the things. We pretty much strolled around (and Hilde ran around) for as long as all the kids could handle – stopping at a coffee shop to drink hot drinks and nurse the babies! It was so nice to get outside and breathe fresh air while also entertaining Hilde! And I took all these photos that I wanted to share here with you!
