Welcome to October!
I am feeling extra festive this year with baby girl in tow. It also may have something to do with the fact that Bruce & I are reading a chapter of Harry Potter out loud every night while I nurse Hilde. Harry Potter always feels “holiday” themed to me – Fall, Halloween, Snow, and Christmas are key players in the books! I’ve been a fan of all the holidays my whole life – I’m all about an excuse to celebrate and gather together but now that I am a mom, that love has exploded into something bigger.
I finally feel like I have an excuse to celebrate all the things because I have a kid now to share them with! Personally, I never bought Halloween outfits (besides my costume) but you better believe I want to buy outfits for Hilde! Now I know why all the children stores make holiday clothing lines 😉
