Snapshots is a series of photos I started sharing from my travels. The outfit posts, big activities, & events always get posts of their own but I am always left with a handful of snapshots. The photos of the people, the places, the little moments in between. All those moments are important to me too and needed to be documented if only for myself.
Las Vegas, what an interesting city! It was fun to visit like a tourist & a local! We were able to eat out at In-N-Out twice (all the praise hands!), visited the Seven Magic Mountains art display in the middle of the desert (click here for MORE pink rocks!) and ate at a fun eatery that I would frequent more than often if it was in Colorado!
We gambled $6 at the Bellagio and walked out with $50! But that was all thanks to Kara, the rest of us don’t have the best luck! haha. We walked around new & old Las Vegas and ate at the Container Park which was actually pretty adorable! And we also watched of first ever episodes of Fixer Upper and now Bruce & I both love Chip & Johanna!
You could say it was a successful trip!
Your choices for the b&w photos are awesome. I love the first one of your girlfriend.
Thanks SO much! I am normally a color girl but I’ve been allowing myself to play! That top photo of Laura is one of my favorites and it just is so much louder in black and white!
Great photos! Looks like a fun trip 🙂
It was really fun!
You got such great photos! You go girl! I love the ones with the blue skies. 🙂
Thanks so much Sam!!! We’ll take so many when you come too!
These snapshots are so fun! I really want to revisit Vegas as an adult and as someone who is learning more about photography. I’ve only gone once – for a friend’s 16th birthday party (that’s a long story and I still have no idea how my parents permitted that) – and all I remember was how big, new and strange it all was to me. I feel like I could appreciate the good parts of the city more now as an adult – especially the pink rocks!
Thanks so much! yeah, it is a weird place! There are lots of fun things but it really isn’t on my list anymore to ever go back! haha. I did it once! lol
