Public School 702

Where to eat out in Las Vegas - Public school 702

One of my favorite things about visiting friends is being able to see the city like a local. We ended up at Public School 702 for dinner one night and it was the perfect place to be! We loved the feel, the giant Connect Four (and the giant Jenga even though it scared the crap out of us every time it fell!), the food, the beer, and of course, the people! Public School is located in a shopping center in Las Vegas away from the strip in a place we would have probably never discovered without Kara!

Las Vegas in August was very warm but that just made the nights so perfect. We sat outside on the patio and watched the sun set as we enjoyed our food & drinks. A couple high school boys set up in the square for a concert and we loved them. They strummed guitars singing all the perfect hipster songs and we sang along from afar 😉 Even as the sun disappeared, we sat comfortably without jackets and enjoyed our time. We then walked around to the shops, spent some time in Lush, and treated ourselves to some gelato! It was a fun place to be and experience! I should also say that the drinks were on the Bellagio because we won $50 bucks earlier that day (after gambling $6) #wecameoutontopinVegas!

If you ever find yourself in Las Vegas and want a normal (but unique) night out, head to Public School. If we had one in Colorado you better believe Bruce & I would be there all the time! HAHA.
