Seven Magic Mountians

seven magic mountains - neon desert adventures! Add this to your road trip!

If you caught my style post on Friday, you will see a very common theme – neon rocks in the desert! We went to the Seven Magic Mountains art display just outside of Las Vegas in the middle of the desert when we were there over the weekend. It was so fun to go there and explore with friends! It is normal for Bruce and I to go on vacation together (obviously, we’re family!) but lately we’ve been all about the freindcations and we are so okay with that!

Bruce and I love going on adventures together but it is also fun to add others into the mix – it creates a different kind of memories! Normally you do fun things with friends in town – but going on adventures together, taking flights, staying in the same place results in a different set of memories. Memories that bring you all closer and a book full of inside jokes!

Laura has traveled with us before (so she knew the drill) and since we were visiting Kara, she joined in on all the adventures (obviously!) Going on vacation with a blogger means lots of pictures, paparazzi shots like this, and pretty much just a lot of photos. I always try to limit my style post photo shoots so that everyone doesn’t have to wait around for me and maximize the every day moments pictures. That is why I started my Snapshots Series on the blog! I wanted to share all those snapshots form vacation that don’t always get a post of their own – because they are pictures on couches, sipping coffee as the morning light flows through the windows, getting ready, reading a book, and the small details of a trip!

Seven Magic Mountains is pretty stinking magical and if you are in the area, you should definitely make a pit stop here!

Confession—we were in Nevada last Labor Day weekend, and since seeing your photos on Instagram, I made sure we made a pit stop here before heading back to California! 😀

We did, but we didn’t stay long—we had to be on the road by noon; otherwise, we’ll be stuck in horrible traffic!

So fun!!! What an awesome backdrop!! Was it weird for Bruce to be on vacay with 3 girls? I feel like my husband would never agree to that haha

haha! It was only two days but he doesn’t mind it. They are all friends of his too – in fact, this trip was one of his ideas. And sometimes we end up doing things with just boys too and I don’t mind it! We kinda don’t really notice things like that. lol. Like I didn’t even think about it until you just pointed it out!
