His & Hers

Colorado Mountain Style for Him & Her

LOCATION: Buena Vista River Walk

OUTFIT DETAILS: HIS – River Eddy Tee (c/o)|| Everyday Shorts || Chacos (c/o) HERS –  Ridgeline Tee (c/o)|| AEO Denim Rolled Boy Midi Short || Bridget Flannel Shirt || Chacos (c/o)

While we were in Buena Vista over the labor day weekend Bruce and I took a stroll down to the river walk. Growing up visiting Buena Vista as a kid, the river walk was always one of my favorite parts. We loved going down to the river, watching it rush, seeing rafters float through, playing with the stones, and balancing on the rocks. The loud roar of a rushing river is oddly so comforting to me.

Vacations with friends are a dream but moments with just my man are too. We walked hand-in-hand, caught up, snapped pictures, and joined everyone else back at the cabin. People always ask how we can do so many friendcations and we definitely find balance. We love spending time with friends & we share the same friends (that makes it WAY easier) but we also make sure to take time for each other when we can. Like this walk when everyone else was napping/ watching hgtv back at the cabin.

Bruce and I are both rocking our Chaco tees because couples that match together, stay together – right!?! 😉 Also we pretty much love Chaco everything. It’s just one of our things!

You guys are adorable! I’m glad you got time just the two of you on the trip, too! 🙂 And it’s so cool to see pictures from where I was this past summer! Except my husband and I walked the trail with 5 little cousins, 7 older cousins, and some elderly aunties. Way less romantic 😉 haha

It is the BEST to be able to share friends with your husband. I so, so appreciate (and adore) that Michael’s good friends somehow ended up married to my good friends, so now we’re all best friends and it is wonderful when we’re reunited.
