Norway berry picking Dress

Norway is absolutely wonderful. It feels SO MUCH like home. You can wear sundresses one day and then scarves and skinny jeans the next. Hello Colorado but 8 hours ahead and with beautiful people who speak angelic Norwegian (I am serious – one of the most beautiful languages I have heard.) Berry picking is something I took part in everyday. they have red currants, black currants, raspberries, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, and cloud berries (the Norwegian favorite!). It is pretty much magical being able to walk into the yard for an afternoon snack!

Hello + Welcome!

Hello Friend! I’m Elizabeth, a Colorado photographer, writer, blogger, & homeschooler. Most importantly, I am a Christ follower, wife, mama, sister, daughter, and friend! I want to welcome you to Oak + Oats!

Here we look for the remarkable in the every day. We love photographing our daily moments, making memories, and sharing our favorite places here in this space. Our happiest days are spent together – many of those with a camera in hand! My free time is spent behind my computer screen sharing our tips and stories with you! I’m glad you’re here!
