Maternity Easter Dress

LOCATION: The Broadmoor

OUTFIT DETAILS: Maternity Tie-Sleeve Wrap Dress || Coral Espadrilles || Lily Jade Bag

Tomorrow makes twenty weeks. I can hardly believe it. We’re at the halfway point and it’s starting to show! Every day I’m feeling our little one move around more and feeling the need to start going into full fledged nesting! We haven’t had any showers yet (and probably won’t until June/July) but I want to buy all the things to get ready for the baby! hahah. We did hit up Babies-R-Us over the weekend to see how good their closeout sales were & see if we wanted to snag anything. So far only 10% off and some things were still not discounted… sooo.. we’ll just order off Amazon 😉

I’ll be honest – my changing body has been more of an emotional journey than I thought it would be! It’s so funny you can know things in your head and plan things out but when they start to h happen, those emotions still sneak through! I knew I would be gaining weight but the process of not fitting in my clothes and seeing my reflection change hasn’t always been easy. AKA I’ve cried about it a couple times. But I am rejoicing over the life that is growing inside me (what?!!) It is so crazy and honestly such a miracle. I am choosing to focus on the amazing things my body can do and not the things that it currently can’t (like fit into more that one pair of jeans.)

The Colorado weather is starting to warm up and I am SO relived. I’ll be wearing dresses as soon as I can until baby is born – they just are way more comfortable that anything else. I picked up this maternity dress from the Gap because I thought it was cute and fun. It’s very spring like and floral (my fav) so I’ll be wearing it to church Easter Sunday! Turns out it is also a nursing dress so I’ll be able to keep wearing it post baby. It’s funny looking at these photos and then looking back to when I tried it on in my IG stories – I’m so much more pregnant now! The changes happen so quickly!

And for those of you wondering (because I know you will ask!) we still have to wait until next week to find out if we are having a boy or girl so get your guessing caps on!!
