These photos of Hilde were too cute not to share! We took her out trick-or-treating on Halloween night with her cousins after a family dinner. Bruce’s parents neighbors go all out for the holiday so we made sure to go to their house and a couple others near by. She loved holding her bucket and walking up to the door looking at all the decorations but when she got to the front door, she turned around before getting candy! The lady came out to make sure Piglet still got some! It was so cute. I filmed a bit of it but I was just oohing and aweing all over it to film the whole thing. We walked a couple more houses down holding her (since a one-year-old doesn’t really need any candy) and then called it a night.
My mom made her costume this year and I don’t think she realized she has now signed herself up for all the Halloweens to come 😉 It just turned out way too cute! It was also perfect for layering in the crazy Colorado weather. On Boo at the Zoo night she didn’t need the tights and long-sleeved onesie but it came in handy on Halloween night! I also just put her ears over her hat and it made for the most adorable cozy Piglet!
I also want to point out that the adorable smiles in these photos didn’t come out until dad came out with us. She just loves her daddy. With mama she was more interested in eating the snow and then crying when her hands got too cold. I love both sets of pictures.
