Snow Day

We had our first snow day today! Well, the first one that Hilde had snow clothes for! The first one was a surprise and I realized I had nothing for Hilde to wear to play in the snow. Then another one happened while we were waiting for our order to come in the mail. And the last one was when we were moving and all those snow clothes were packed in boxes. So this one was the first one we got to enjoy!

Hilde didn’t know what to think as I dressed her inside but once she got outside she was very content to just hang out and eat snow. I was the one who got cold first – my coat doesn’t go over the baby bump so it’s not as warm as normal ๐Ÿ˜‰

This was our trial run for her new snowsuit, gloves, and boots. I give them all five stars because home girl didn’t get cold and she looked so darn cute! The best part is that she totally can’t walk in this yet. She army crawled, rolled, and sat but din’t even try to take a step. It feels so much like A Christmas Story – “I can’t put my arms down!”

I was on the hunt for adorable & cute yet quality snow clothes (the holy grail) because kids outgrow everything and I’m not made of money ๐Ÿ˜‰ HAHA! I found these ones on H&M (which really seems to be hitting it out of the park these days – I am finding so many favorites for the girls here!) Here are outfit details for all you other mamas on the hunt: Floral Snowsuit – $50, Heart Gloves – $13, and Heart Soft Boots – $13. My coat is Eddie Bauer and I’m so glad I bought it a couple winters ago. It is my favorite coat ever. They actually still sell the Alpendown Parka in silver (which is what I have!) if you want to snag one for yourself! You won’t regret it.
