I know Autumn isn’t over yet but I’ve added a second bucket list to the mix! AND IT IS CHRISTMAS!!! We’ll get a Winter one going once Autumn is over and recapped, but I just had to make one for Christmas all on its own! I love this time of the year so much. I used to be a bit embarrassed about wanting to start planning and celebrating early, but now I just rock it. Bruce and I are not exactly on the same boat when it comes to this but we compromise. We do tree and house decorations after Thanksgiving but I can sneak in holiday decor, make plans, and listen to Christmas music after Halloween.
You’ll see when we do the Autumn Bucket List recap post that I didn’t get to cross off everything on my list. That is okay. We had to make sacrifices and plans when we suddenly (without warning) bought a fixer upper. The goal of a bucket list isn’t to stress you out, it is to list out your priorities and make sure you have time for them. Sometimes other life situations pop up and you have to readjust in the moment but knowing what you were hopping to accomplish in each season helps you decide if you skip it this year or make sure it gets in the calendar. So don’t let this Christmas Bucket List stress you out! Let it inspire and encourage you to enjoy the season! Put the little things on the list too – like drink an eggnog latte or read a book by the fire. They don’t all have to be big, instagramable moments!
