The Magic Kingdom

Guys!!! We went back to Disney! It’s honestly no real big surprise if you know me at all, but at the same time we were not planning to get to Disney on this trip. We had just been to Disneyland in October and Disney World in November of 2015 (and December of 2014…) so we figured we would just make this a beach trip and save the money from going to any of the parks. HOWEVER it turns out you cannot put us near Disney without catching the magic. After the wedding on Saturday, we all gathered (sans the newly weds) back at the condo & were sitting in our jammies well after midnight and my brother said ” I’ll go if you go!” That was that!

Cocoa Beach is only about an hour from Disney so it was no problem to hop into our rental car and make it a day trip. We all wished we could somehow sneak in a week in the resorts with a meal plan (the dream) but not this time. Since we only had one day, we chose the Magic Kingdom. It is, as the name suggests, totally magical. Bruce and I love spending time with my little brother and pretty much they both picked on me/ made me laugh the entire day – love those boys! Chris was pretty engaged in the Snapchats the entire time (seriously if you follow me on Snapchat, you really should be following him because he actually posts!) Mostly because he is a hip college kid but also because his gf was not on the trip with us ๐Ÿ˜‰ In Chris’ Snapchat endeavors, we found out that my little sister and her new husband (of two days) was also at the Magic Kingdom. We stocked them through the app (slightly creepy) but decided to not actually find them since they were on their honeymoon and all. They were stocking us back (since Chris is pretty detailed) so they called us to find us! We spent the rest of the day together and it was way fun. I couldn’t get over that we are all family now – it’s really fun!

I pulled an “Oldest” card and made everyone ride the Dumbo ride with me so that I could get fun pictures. And by get fun pictures, I mean make Bruce take some of us. It was worth it and I laughed the whole time. I felt a little hipster and a whole lot of wonderful. I am turning myself into a bag at Disney girl since I’m loving taking ALL THE PICTURES.

If you find yourselves in Orlando, you should probably make your ways to the parks for at least one day. Snow White Mine Trains, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Carousel of Progress, Big Thunder Railroad, and Haunted Mansion are all must dos at the Magic Kingdom! And now there is a Muppet Show in Liberty Square that you want to make sure to catch – I laughed out loud. Got to love the Muppets!
