LOCATION: The Broadmoor
Outfit Details: Floral Xhilaration Romper || Sofia Sandals || Madewell Tote || Colorado Collective Volume II || Mountain Necklace
We went for a summer stroll around the Broadmoor over the weekend. I’ve been craving anything cold on these hot, hot days and the Broadmoor has the best ice cream (that’s not homemade 😉 ). I was also able to pick up the most recent volume of the Colorado Collective which was really fun! I already love everything local & creative but this volume is a bit more special to me because my Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream recipe is found within! Eating ice cream while reading about ice cream – the dream!
Besides ice cream, I’ve also been obsessed with floral everything & summer rompers. Like seriously, I love wearing rompers. They are easy like a dress but with shorts on the bottom so you don’t have to worry about windy days or sitting on the ground. It’s brilliant! I just snagged this one & the fun California tote bag in my last thredUP purchase. If you have not already shopped on thredUP, now is the time!
What is thredUP you ask? They are one of the best resources for women’s and kids’ high-quality secondhand (like-new) fashion (like a well curated online consignment store) – with a range of brands from Madewell to Zara to Joie, at super affordable prices. A Theory dress for less than $40? A floral romper for $10.49? Yes, please. You can also request a clean out bag & send in all the clothes you no longer wear to sell back. Not too shabby if you were already planning on donating unwanted items in your closet. Have some shopping to do? Use code: WOW40 at check out to save 40% off your purchase!
What are some of your favorite summer activities and obsessions?

This romper is adorable! I wish I could wear rompers, but my legs and torso is too long, so they look funky!
Thanks so much! Yeah. I think it helps that I am so short!
That romper is adorable! I still haven’t tried wearing this latest trend, but yours is so cute, I may have to give it a try! I will pair mine with an ice cream cone too 🙂
Oh yes! I just adore rompers! lol. and yes, Ice cream with everything!
Super cute romper — love the bag, too!
I know right?! It is so fun!
What an adorable outfit, as always Beth! Love ThredUp 🙂
Thank you so much Betsy!
Super cute romper!! I am going to check out thredUP now too!
Yes! I love them!
Rompers have been on my wish list for so long now! 🙂 I think I’m getting ready to buy one. 🙂
So much yes in this post! I love the romper (I have been wanting a new romper since I just have one and it’s more fall/winter colors) and the bag…and am happy for you on getting your recipe in a magazine! 🙂 I will have to check out thredUP because I’ve heard several people talk about it recently.
…and of course, now I want ice cream! 😉
ahhh! Thanks so much! and you really will have to check it out! It is pretty fun!
We need thredUP in Canada! I love your picks. And congratulations on getting your recipe in print!
I know you do! I still cannot believe they haven’t made that possible yet!
You pull that romper off so well! I have been contemplating trying one for awhile.
Thank you so much! Not all rompers are created equally so I would say try a couple on to find the style you like best! But I was surprised how much I loved them!
okay.
A. you’re adorable in that romper. (you’re adorable period, but that romper is extra cute on you)
B. whaaaaat. threadUP huh? yes please. $10 I can do. I loved the concept of the monthly clothing thing you use to do? what was it? I tried it for a bit, but everything in it was just too expensive for me. :/ I’m a Target price-range kinda girl. This… this I may be able to do. <3
Oh girl! Yes to thredup! I love the prices (way more afordable than stich fix for sure!!) and they have kids clothes! And you can send in clothes too to sell back!! XOXO
also, thanks so much girl you are making me blush!
