I’ve been wanting to dip my toes into wallpaper for an embarrassingly long time. Yes I know, wallpaper is messy and a pain and …outdated (or so you think!) I’ve done my fair share of scraping off layers of wallpaper from houses built in the 50’s and spent my time in elementary school helping my mom hang up boarders around rooms (and then take them off again.) Even still, I’ve always loved something about it.
Timing was starting to feel right when we got NEW carpet in our house when we finished the basement. The fun & spontaneous hall I painted right when we moved in needed updating.. badly! Then Walls Need Love walked into my life and my eyes became open to a new world of wallpaper – wallpaper that was not only easy to put up but also easy to take down (and move around as much as you want as you try to line things up perfectly!!!)
The holiday break allowed for just enough time for a little Hallway remodel (among the yuletide joys & family gatherings!) I wanted a way to make a statement with not as much effort and knew I found the answer with the Moody Triangles Removable Wallpaper & a couple cans of paint!
Details:
- Moody Triangle Wallpaper
- Naptime Diaries Canvas
- Universal Gray Paint & Bright White Paint
- Sandpaper
- White light Fixture (we picked the cheapest – it was $10)

Thanks so much Jae!!! I really love how it turned out!
Love the new hallway decor, Beth! It’s beautiful!
Thank you so much! We love how calm and cool it feels!
I’ve seen some really pretty wallpapers lately, but I’ve also never committed because I know what a pain they are. So I’m so happy to learn that there are companies out there that have made the hassle basically disappear 🙂 This wall look so pretty with your new paper!

I don’t think wallpaper is outdated at all. Once we move I want to do a futured wallpaper wall! So pretty!

This turned out so cute! I love how using bright colors and neutrals can open up a space like this. I love how it turned out! 🙂
I know! IT is pretty magical how much better the space feels!
Oh my goodness! I LOVE that wall! And your entire hallway looks fantastic. And you make it look and seem so simple to do. lol I live in an apartment right now and can’t do anything to my walls but I may have to ask if “wall decals” are okay. Ugh. I hate the plain white.
Oh girl! There is no residue and it is literally stick on, peal off when you want! I totally think it is perfect for dorms and apartments!
I LOVE it! It is seriously the most unique and eye-catching wall I’ve ever seen in a home. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much! I was a little nervous of the bold shapes but I LOVE so much how it turned out!
Wow LOVE the new wall, so fun!! I need to try that wallpaper out, removable is a great option for those of us in apartments or that have commitment issues haha 😉 Thanks for sharing!

Veronica,
It’s the PERFECT solution for renters! And the best part is you can change up the look as often as you’d like. Win/Win!

Yes! I so agree! I’ve been telling all my friends that!
Removeable wallpaper sounds like the best idea EVER! We’re just starting to get to the point where rooms we painted are now getting re-painted (and we’re about to order carpet for our unfinished-but-on-its-way upstairs!) so the wallpaper giveaway is PERFECT! I love how bright and white the space is around the lovely pattern 🙂
Thanks so much! Yes! You should totally try it! It is wonderful! Go house projects team!
