It’s Reindeer Season
Every year our staff department takes Christmas card pictures to send out to our volunteers and the rest of the staff. Ever since I’ve been on the team, I’ve taken the role very seriously 😉 Our first year it was Ugly Christmas Sweaters, last year was Flannel Party, and this year it is – Antler people! Which is obviously adorable. I have also now taken over the role of scheduling the shoot, taking the photos, and creating the card since, according to the team, ” I am the blogger!” hehe.
So I made us leave work early to hike into the woods with antlers from my coworker’s dad (he’s a hunter) and we took a bunch of pictures. Don’t worry, there were several comments and even a couple poses influenced by Oak + Oats. They’ll be pretty pumped when they see that they made it to the blog 😉 This is what happens when your real life friends and acquaintances find out about your blog!
I think these pictures were too cute not to share and I just love how “Colorado-y” we are! Of course we all have puffy coats in different colors – this IS Colorado!
Do you take Christmas photos with your staff? Do you take them with your family? Do you do themes? Schedule a shoot? Use a picture from vacation?

December 11, 2015 at 9:12 amSuper fun photos! Love the antlers. We had a photo booth at our wedding and tossed a set in for people to use. They were a hit. So jealous that you guys already have snow. Up here in Toronto, we’re still quite green and mild.
