DIY Cheers Gift Basket

Give the gift of cheer this season! And by Cheer, I mean Cheers! This basket full of beer and all the Stanley Brand gear you need for drinks in the mountains is a great DIY gift for the beer lover or whisky fan in your family!

I’ve always loved the idea of gift baskets! Remember all those silent auctions you had when you needed to raise money for a mission trip or camp trip as a kid? I LOVED them. I would put together a “Stay Cozy” or “Date Night” basket together and then wander around the room looking at what all the other students brought to the auction! I wanted to buy them all but alas I was in middle school and obviously needing to raise money for the trip! I still love Gift Baskets to this day – they are a fun way to tie a theme all together in one big gift. As we age, we worry less about the number of gifts under the tree – we are more anxious to see our loved ones open gifts we picked out just for them and get to the apple pie 😉 Gift Baskets become such a fun way to wrap everything up in one theme and one giant gift that says ” I thought all this out for you!”

BAM. So here is a DIY basket for your man or a man or some wonderful lady (hint, hint – someone like me ;)) In our family (on both sides) we draw names and shop for that one person. Both of us have siblings with spouses and some with children and it just makes the family Christmas list explode. Drawing names is how we are able to give generous gifts because we only need to shop for 2 instead of like 20! I don’t know if you do this too, but if you do, you may want to think basket wise this year 😉

Every basket needs a good name – thus CHEERS! (Obviously a great name choice 😉 ) but it is packed with all your need to take your beer or fancy drinks into the mountains! Packed with all things Stanley Brand! Perfect for the outdoor lover of beer and whisky! haha!

Do you ever make gift baskets? Do you know anyone who would love this gift? Have you ever made a gift basket before – what was the theme?!

I love the idea of these! I’ve really made a point this year to be intentional with my gift giving so this is totally up my alley, and I too would love to receive a basket like this! ????

This is such a fun idea!! I agree, gift baskets are the best. (Last year my mom made my husband a “grill-master” basket which he LOVED.) I might have to steal this idea for him for this year! 🙂

Wow, what a haul! I just put my name down on three gift baskets at the silent auction that ends today at the local library, but none were as cool as this one!

We put one together for my mom for Christmas of 1999, complete with a lantern and some other goodies so they were ready for new years eve that year when everything was going to stop working. Remember that? lol
