1. In case you missed it, I was on a business trip to DC for a whirlwind of 48 hours! We spent our last morning exploring Georgetown thanks to some instagram recommendations (which was pretty awesome and I kept telling my co-workers that people following my instagram where telling us where to go!) and we loved it! It was a great little break from the busy world of Washington DC and we just got to wander, look at pretty doors, drink coffee, and eat cupcakes.
2. Flying to DC. Two travel days in three days is pretty crazy but we made it. I’m honestly pretty impressed with all we got in while we were there!
3. My instagram turned into a foodie diary while we were in DC. Because we had to work for a good portion of Wednesday, we knew we didn’t have tons of time to be tourists and see everything. We made a commitment to eat local. This was our dinner on Wednesday when we were walking back from our meetings at the Capitol. It was a fancy place called China Chilcano and I couldn’t pronounce anything on the menu but what ever I ate and ordered was so yum.
4. Iced Chai at the Broadmoor with my man. We tend to hit up the Broadmoor coffee shop all the time these days – it is just a great date location!
