Garden of the Gods Gourmet

Last weekend we went to a new eatery in town as our own little ladies date while the boys went to Rudy’s! We had an absolute blast talking about wedding plans, our favorite things, and how great the lighting was in the building. You will see by the million pictures taken that we were smitten with Garden of the Gods Gourmet (and of course, the lighting!)

We went on a late Saturday morning so the place was pretty packed but we still did not have to wait long for a seat and they had so many people working there that the volume of guests did not deter from the service! While we waited we walked around their little shop filled with local foods and some prepared meals to go. I loved the volume of fresh, healthy, Colorado goods, and would have shopped if our time had allowed it! We also spent time browsing the magazine section and getting excited about all things Colorado and wedding (since Mer asked us to be in the wedding just that weekend!)
When we sat down at our table we chatted some more as all best friends do when out to brunch. And our food was so beautiful when it arrived we barely could eat it! It was just a tad bit expensive for a breakfast and lunch eatery but the food is high quality, local, and fresh which is more important to me! I’ll be back, hopefully with these girls again as well! If you are in the Colorado Springs area, I recommend stopping by this eatery for a fun, local feel! It gets 4.5 stars in my book!

Service: 4 out of 5
Atmosphere: 5 out of 5
Food: 5 out of 5

Value: 4 out of 5
Overall: 4.5 out of 5
