every month i say this, but how is it already October? the days pass by so quickly. and it has me thinking – how do i make the most of each day? how easy it is to wish our time away. to look forward to the weekend. to wish for autumn weather, then snow on Christmas, new life, and swimsuit season. there is always something to look forward to and always something that gets left undone.
“Our
life is made up of time. Our days are measured in hours, our pay measured by those
hours, our knowledge is measured by years. […] And yet time eventually runs
out and you wonder in your heart of hearts if those seconds, minutes, hours,
days, weeks, months, years and decades were being spent the best way they
possibly could.” ― Cecelia

this autumn season i want to make the most of these days. i found this fall to do list on Glitter Guide and i think it is a fun challenge. some of these things will be easy for me to do – host a bonfire, go to a pumpkin patch. and the rest are things i want to do, i just don’t make the time – master making an apple pie, take a getaway to the mountains.
join me if you want in making the most of these days. i will be checking off each of these things on the list and blogging about my experiences along the way.
i don’t want to take for granted these days the Lord has given me. the time in this season now. i want to spend time with people. listen to the Lord in the stillness. and live without regrets.
what is something you want to do this October?
what do YOU not want to miss out on?
love this to do list! i may steal it 🙂 my husband & i are going to a farm down here that has a pumpkin patch, hay rides, corn maze, etc. i've never done anything like it even though fall is my favorite season – so i'm pretty stoked!
mmmm autumn. my core groupt and i are doing a fall themed craft night next week…fall wreaths, i think! can't wait to check some other autumn inspired things off my list too 🙂
Love this list, especially love the challenge to make the most of the time the Lord has given us! Helps me remember to slow down and enjoy the little things. Definitely want to eat cider doughnuts!
Such a cute little fall bucket list!! Yesterday I planned a fall themed day on our anniversary. We sipped on hot coffee, went to the pumpkin patch, went through a corn maze, sipped cider and made hot soup for dinner! I'm loving fall already. 🙂
I definitely want to go apple picking so I can Master an apple pie or apple chimichangas! I also want to take some type of trip to have warm tea by a lake. Maybe to upstate NY or even Canada.
i so agree with you Beth, i really want to capture these fall days as well. what a beautiful season 🙂 the apple pie is definitely on my list, and you should totally try knitting (if you don't already). it's so cathartic and cozy hehe. happy October, friend!
i do just love the idea of "mastering" an apple pie. and girl – i am so scared of the knitting thing! but everyone says it is fun and addicting. it just looks so hard!
warm tea by a lake? girl. that sounds magical!
what a fun date!! and such a great month for a wedding. i love fall weddings!
i have never had cider donuts! so i am going to need to discover them before i can eat them! lol. and yes, i so want to live more intentionally!
