“i’m in love! i’m in love! and i don’t care who knows it!” the buddy the elf emerges from within and i am lost for words. zephaniah 3:17 has been a long time favorite of mine. it is filled with some of the words that i cherish the most. my go-to verse. and sweet honey to my soul.
the Lord your God is with you
He is mighty to save
He will take great delight in you
He will quiet you with His love
He will rejoice over you with singing
take a minute and sit in the silence. listen for His beautiful voice. it is rejoicing over you. over me. and those fears? yeah, He wants to quiet them and His love is loud enough to do so. because He delights in you and He is strong enough to save you from your fears, your sin, your circumstances. it sounds to good to be true so my heart rejoices “i’m in love! i’m in love! and i don’t care who knows it!”

did you need to hear that today?
I DID
What a great feeling, indeed! Don't have a go-to verse for all the time, but this week it's Deut. 31:6…. holding on to the fact He is with me always, never leaving me.
This is so good. It's posts like these that I need to read through twice sometimes. What a good feeling it is indeed, to have a God who truly rejoices over us and who takes delight in me, too.
And there are so very many verses that I love.
My very favorite is probably Jeremiah 29:11, but I've also been loving and living on Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 37:3-7, and Hebrews 11:1. 🙂
When you go through deep waters and great troubles I will be with you always.
Isaiah 32:2
It's a version a sunday school teacher told me years ago and I wrote down in my journal. I have no idea what translation it is but it has always been my favorite!
