Snapshots with Our Kansas City Cousins

I am the oldest in a family of four kids. And like the obedient, perfect, responsible, favorite, oldest daughter I am ๐Ÿ˜‰ , I stayed here. My siblings all moved away. LAME. I still have hope we will entice them all to move back here to beautiful Colorado one day, but until then we travel to see them.

Family is HUGE to me. Although we live states away, we’re really close. And for the first time ever, all four of us (and my mom!) went out to stay in my little sister (and her family’s) new house!

Millie and Judah are just 6 weeks apart so they are practically cousin twins! It’s fun to see them together – each time they are at such similar stages! With three toddlers, we spent a lot of mornings out and every afternoon in doing nap time. I’m not going to lie, I don’t mind the slower paced vacations with littles!

As always, I took too many photos ๐Ÿ˜‰ I narrowed it down (believe it or not!) for this recap of our time in Kansas City (well, actually Lee’s Summit!)

THE PARK

Believe it or not we went to multiple parks with these three. Hilde adored going to new parks and discovering all the other toys! This park is near my sister’s house and has the best structures! We could have stayed here all day! HAHA!

Hawaiian bros

Okay, we need one of these in Colorado Springs! We loved eating here and it was so beautiful on the inside that I just had to take some photos!

Wonderscope children’s muesum

The weather called for rain all day (and believe me, it POURED!) so we went to the Children’s Museum! We were not the only ones with that idea so it was a bit crowed but it was still a blast! We even let the kids play outside in the rain after we were done with the indoor part because there was so much to explore!

The Park (again)

Another park on another HOT Midwest summer day. My girls coudln’t get over how sticky things were all the time and the bugs! Lol. They sound like me ๐Ÿ˜‰

Deanna Rose Childrenโ€™s Farmstead

On Saturday when the boys were off work, we went to a fun farmstead! It was so much fun for the kiddos and for me! I’m all about these historical learning activities! My mom and Hilde fed the goats and it was the cutest thing! There were so many things for kids to do and it wasn’t even that busy which was wonderful!

Thank you Kansas City for the good time (as always). XOXO.
