Classic Mojitos

I’m mostly a beer drinker but I’ve been expanding my adult beverages list by trying new things and attempting to fill up my bar cart (that I still don’t have, I just can’t find the right one!) Mojitos are a summer time classic and something I can totally get behind – especially if mint grows in everyone’s backyard!

When I was at King Soopers the other day (Side Note: This is my grocery store jam. If you are ever in Colorado on vacay and unsure where to shop for food, hit up King Soopers! They carry all kinds of “Colorado Proud” items and they have the best prices in town.) and I saw Vintage Sparkling Water with lime! Obviously perfect for my summer mojitos! And now I’ve got that classic, refreshing mojito recipe for you today!

WHAT YOU NEED:
Vintage Lime Sparkling Water
– 1 Lime
– Fresh Mint (ask all your friends to look in their backyard!)
– Simple Syrup (1Tbs sugar mix with 1Tbs hot water)

– Shot of White Rum

HOW TO:

1. Pour shot and simple syrup into glass.

2. Squeeze and drop a slice of lime into the glass,

3. Add some mint leaves.

4. Fill up with Vintage Lime Sparkling Water.

5. Stir and add garnish.

6. Enjoy and Drink Responsibly!
