This Christmas was a first for us on many fronts. It started off with a scare on Christmas Eve which left Hilde with family and Bruce and I in the hospital seeing if Millie would be joining us for the holiday! After some monitoring and good news, we were released but missed Chirstmas Eve dinner. Typically we spend Christmas Eve with Bruce’s fmaily and Christmas Day with mine, but all my siblings were not able to come home this Christmas! Half them work at Disney and the other half just had a baby 😉
Our initial plan was to have my parents and Bruce’s parents over for a small Christmas dinner after celebrating as our family of three in the morning. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas that plan changes and we ended up hosting a house full of family and a small ceremony for my sister-in-law and her new husband Brad! Our unfinished home was filled with family and joy making it a Christmas for the books!
It was also the first year I successfully made monkey bread which it a big win for me! So much so I made sure to capture it on film! As I edited these photos from our day, I wish I took many more but alas, these are what I’ve got!
So here’s to our first Christmas in our new home!
