Leadville, CO

Leadville, Colorado. This is the place of my childhood history of Colorado dreams. The mountains, the mining, the history! I was always fascinated by Colorado history growing up (well actually any kind of history!) and I remember being a kid and loving when we got to visit all the old mining towns. I would think of the stories of people like the Unsinkable Molly Brown who made her money in this town & then went on to survive the sinking of the titanic. So much history all in one place.

I’m still like that today so don’t go on vacation with me if you don’t want to read signs, visit museums, or hear bits of trivia I’ve learned along the way 😉 It was fun going back up to this place as an adult with friends & walking around this cute little mountain town. We ate burgers where the locals do, looked at old buildings & old treasures, took pictures like you do on blogger adventures, and ended with coffee at an adorably hip coffee shop.
