Who let the dogs out? This mom. And who only knows that song from the pop medley in Trolls?! My kids! HAHA. Millie Bea turned FOUR YEARS OLD and we threw her a doggone good paw-ty. It was Woof-tastic. No bones about it! Tails were wagging and paws were tapping – okay I’m not sure where I am going with this. Dogs. The party was dog themed. Obviously.
All she wanted for her birthday (and Christmas!!!) was a real dog – “one that is aliiiiive Mom. Just like Juliet, Pippin, and Jackie!” (aka: the real dogs she knows and loves) Unfortunately for her, her parents still have a toddler who doesn’t always like to sleep through the night and are not mentally able to take on a puppy in the midst of all this chaos. On the bright side, a dog themed birthday party was not only adorable, but a whole bunch of fun. And we gave her a giant giraffe, so it was practically the same thing! 😉
Our January parties are always smaller by necessity. Without the backyard to explode into, we simply cannot fit dozens of people. But it works out perfectly for our Millie girl who wants her best friends and chocolate and that is about it. We inflated the bounce house, sang happy birthday, ate chocolate cake, and simply had a paw-sitivily perfect paw-ty!
