August 25th, 2020
Well would you look at that two year old. And that messy mirror. That is a sign that it is an Our Daily Moments post! I’m currently sitting on the couch with the laptop on my lap ballancing a cup on tea on my belly. No, I am not pregnant but I did learn just how useful this place can be for storage 😉 It is 8:36 pm and I’m fighting my eyelids to stay open. The girls have had colds & Millie is teething/ doing that nine month sleep regression thing and this mama is TIRED.
I’m not quite sure what I want to be doing (I know I have a to-do list somewhere) but here I am finishing up some “drafts” that have been sitting in my WordPress account and also editing some photos from this week in lightroom. I’m just realizing that I totally skipped Our Daily Moments for September – oops! It is October and I am just getting our August dates up – there goes my perfect record!! At least I still have time to get in October (make a note to add that to my to-do list that is somewhere around here…)
Anyways, let’s talk about August. It’s funny that I took these photos on the 25th because that is both my parents anniversary ( 42 this year!!) and my sister’s birthday (30 this year!!) but we weren’t with either of them on this date to celebrate so you won’t see that in this day!
1-2: Hilde loves this corner of our room! It is my nightstand and if I hear her head upstairs and I cannot find her, this is where she is at. She loves to get in my drawers, mess with all my stuff, turn my light on & off, and just be the cutest!
3-4: Getting in the car for music class! This girl LOVES getting into the car to go places. We flipped her around and it is actually so nice to have some distance between the girls now. She looks so big here!
5-6: We have been meeting at our music teacher’s house in the backyard because of COVID and it is actually so nice to be outside! She also has a tree house that Hilde likes to play in after class every time!
7-9: The girls love hanging out in my room! HAHA. I put Millie on the bed to keep her out of reach of Hilde but now Millie is starting to move fast toward the edges and Hilde can also climb up. So my plan is quickly becoming out of date!
10: Hilde has started playing with dolls & stuffed animals way more and I find them put to bed all over the house! It is so cute!
11-23: Pool after work!!
24-27: We brought a little picnic for dinner and Millie is starting to munch on so much “real” food. When they start eating foods, it really feels like they have left that baby stage. I cannot believe it – wasn’t she just born!?!?
28-30: Getting gas and cleaning the windows. AKA entertaining Hilde like only a dad can do!
