Ironically I picked the day that I got the stomach bug to do Our Daily Moments for May but that’s just real life sometimes! Don’t worry, I wasn’t throwing up all day (I did that all night/the next day) but it is funny to look back on these photos and remember how the day ended.
I also shot all the photos in jpeg and not raw because a setting on my camera had changed somehow (which I’m still so sad about) and forgot about a million times that I was trying to do Our Daily Moments for this day and left my camera in other rooms. In a perfect world, I would just document a new day but this isn’t a perfect world and May was gone before I had time to recover from my 24 hour bug. And in a weird way I think that makes these moments even more special. Life isn’t perfect or planned all the time but there are still “photo worthy” moments!
Want in? Join us! Our Daily Moments is all about capturing your every day moments in a non-stressful way so I started an email list where I will send you monthly reminders to make it happen! Plus I send a nifty download with my tips & tricks for making this day easy and fun. Click here!

1-9: Trying to get everyone dressed and ready! This is always a bit of an ordeal but I also kind of love the chaos of it all! Just not when I didn’t allow enough “getting ready” time into our schedule and we’re running late getting out of the house! lol.

10: Me fangirling over how Jennifer Garner commented on several of my posts on Instagram and it took me 2 weeks to realize it!!

11-17: Lots of pictures with my little girl because I want her to have photos with her mama to look back on too!

18-19: Actual footage of the girl’s room. We try to pick up every night before bed but their room rarely stays put together for long. Hilde loves dumping all the baskets and playing with all her toys! She also loves to get creative (see shoe pile in upside down step stool!)

20-21: Climbing into the car all by herself! #mybiggirl!

22-24: Those sisters in the car! They are mostly sweet but sometimes not. We can’t space them out until Hilde can flip forward in her car seat but I’ll be glad when they cannot (read Hilde ) grab each other while I’m driving anymore!

25: Bruce taking the girls for a walk during his lunch so I could rest.

26-29: My mom helped me clean up this front area and plant some flowers! Hilde LOVES grandma and wants to be by her side at all times! HAHA. So she “helped” too!

30-31: Dancing to all the music.

32: Since we got sod in the backyard, Bruce had to buy our first ever lawn mower! He decided to test it out on our weeds in the front yard! HAHA!
