Copper Makes It Better

This post is sponsored by Pernod Ricard, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own

When we first moved into our home, one of the first things I wanted to add to the living room was a bar cart. I wanted something fashionable yet functional. I wanted something we could gather around with friends, try new things, and celebrate life’s moments. I got that bar cart and it sits in my living room and it does just that.

Recently I added the most luxurious barware to our collection – a stunning bottle of Absolut Elyx (seriously, the bottle is so pretty) and two damask embossed copper mule cups. To celebrate we decided to break them in with a little happy hour of our own.

Raise your hand if you like Happy Hour (our hands are up to.) While it is obviously fun to go out, creating a happy hour at home is also just as fun and a great way to invite friends over to hang out in a relaxed environment. My rules for happy hour at home? Good music, good friends, and a signature drink!

Elyx is a single estate, copper crafted, vodka that is the luxury expression of Absolut. To experience the best of Absolut Elyx we picked one of their signature drinks to make as the signature drink of our happy hour! The unique way they use copper in the distilling process is what gives Elyx its celebrated rich silky mouthfeel and exceptionally smooth finish. And so we poured them into our copper mule mugs because copper just makes it better ๐Ÿ™‚

The Drink: THE ELYX SPRITZ

Ingredients:

1 Part Absolut Elyx

1 Part Lillet Rose

Top Fevertree Elderflower

How to: Build in a highball glass over cubed ice. Top with bitter lemon, stir gently and garnish.
