My favorite Dress this Summer

So if the title of the post doesn’t already give this away, I’m obsessed with this dress. I got it at Old Navy for $15 and then wore it for like four days straight. It is soft, flowy, sleeveless (hello summer heat!) and so easy. I can dress it up with a fun clutch and wedges or wear it casual and throw on my chacos & my topo designs crossbody bag to head out the door. I also love that it is black because then I get to add fun pops of color to it – like this bag and these wedges!! This Sunday afternoon I wore it dressed up style when Bruce and I grabbed coffee at the Broadmoor.

I get everything iced these days. While our summers don’t have the terrible curse of humidity, we still get 80/90 degree days and since we are closer to the sun at this elevation, you can feel it! So I ordered an iced chai at the coffee shop and walked back outside into the heat of the day. The Broadmoor is such a fun place to walk around and sit & talk. That is why it is so fun that they have a coffee shop there so you can have an excuse to go! And it is also fun that they make iced drinks so you don’t over heat 😉
