I think I speak for us all when I say we loved Newport beach! There was just something about it so down-to-earth yet hip! We loved walking from our airbnb to the beach in the mornings and stopping for local goodies along our way. The streets were lined with fun shops and eateries and the beach was wide and expansive. Staying in Newport Beach and adventuring out from there was totally a highlight from our trip.
One of our mornings there we woke up and walked along the beach until we hit Seaside Donuts and Newport Coffee Company. We stopped in both loading up on breakfast foods and fresh coffee. We then spent the rest of the morning soaking up the sun and playing at the beach until we grabbed lunch at the Pizza Bar. Everything was spontaneous that morning and it was fun to discover what to do along the way.
The Pasific is for sure colder than the Atlantic but not enough to keep us from getting our feet wet (and the boys from diving in!) We have to freak out like tourists whenever we are at the beach because we really don’t get anything like in here in Colorado 😉
If you are thinking about a SoCal trip, I totally recommend staying in Newport!
Newport beach is so pretty and fun! The ocean is so much colder on the west coast than the east coast, but the beach is always so much fun.
It really is. All the beaches. I also like the cooler water. The hot Floridian water was kind of weird! lol
i’ll take one of every donut thanks! 😉
You are the cutest!
