Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end (or that the temperatures have to drop – seriously, it is like 85° this week – anyone else still sweating on the way to work?!) I love that adventures are year round especially when our summer pretty much looked like a big fat finish the basement project (Side Note: If you are wondering that is still trucking on slowly but surly. I think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel!? Expect some kinds of posts in October 😉 ) Good news though, we have a tendency to get cabin fever if we stay in too long so we still used our Chacos for more than protecting our feet from nails on the ground and hit up the trials near by.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I love living so close to trails & mountains. Just the other day I was driving with my four-year-old niece in the car and she piped up from the backseat “The mountains are so big! I’m glad they are so close to us so we can play with them!” Me too sweet girl. Me too.
We find ourselves in North Cheyenne Cañon Park quite often. There are a variety of trails woven through the foothills just outside of Colorado Springs. We all strapped on our Chacos (because they are fit for adventure, duh ;),) filled up our water bottles, and ran away to the mountains. We also spent a lot of time in a tunnel taking shadow photos and I spent some time trying to organize a group sing-a-long (apparently not everyone was down with the idea of breaking out into musicals as we hiked along…) #spiritofsummer
Because we love you and summer (& autumn too) we want to offer you the chance to win a pair of Chacos (of your choice) so that you can join us in the #spiritofsummer !!! Yes!! To enter to win, just fill out the Rafflecopter below! PS: Don’t cheat, it is mean. Good Luck!! xoxo

I love living so close to mountains too:) it’s been so much fun taking our daughter on our first hikes this summer!
I’d love to win any blueish pair, because blue is my jam!
The jumping flamingo pic. Hahahahahah. My fav.
Loving the new Chaco boots!
I love Chacos! Perfect for exploring our mounains!
I have never owned Chaco’s, so it would be great to finally get my hands on a pair. This summer was filled with lots of beach outings. Unfortunately, living in SoCal, our trails are always super crowded and don’t really allow for a good hike, but I enjoyed taking our dog to the beach this summer and chasing him in the water!
The mountains are the one thing I miss about Tennessee. But I love the different types of beauty I’ve found in Charleston.
I love Chacos! My favorite is by the end of summer when I have a Chaco tan line.
I had the best summer…it was my first summer as a new Mom! I would LOVE to win a pair of these. 🙂
I have a pair of knockoff Chacos and they’re just not the same. I worked at a summer camp all summer without any sport sandals!
I would LOVE a pair of toecoops, especially since my feet have out grown my Chacos from being pregnant!
Yes, toecoops!!
