We’ve been planning a GIRLS TRIP since forever and finally this Spring we set a date, made reservations, and declared the last weekend of August our girls weekend! We head out today (yes!) to Santa Fe – the Land of Enchantment which is surprisingly only a 4 hour drive from our Colorado homes. If you love margaritas, pools, local shops, and pretty ladies, make sure you follow me on Instagram because I’ll be sharing our journey and it is going to be rockin’ – I mean, 8 ladies (3 of whom are leaving babies with daddies) who scheduled moths in advance and have been looking forward to this weekend all summer?!? Yes.
Way back in April when we made plans, I signed up to get my next Stitch Fix in time for the trip – letting my stylist know just how excited I was for our little getaway! I wanted to love it all but two pieces just didn’t work – bright side, three of them did! And they are also making their way into my duffle bag for this weekend.
SIDE NOTE: If you are wondering what this Stitch Fix wonderment is, it is a styling service where you fill out all this information about you and a personal stylist sends you a box of clothes curated just for you! I love it. So much. You can read this post I wrote on the Real Deal About Stitch Fix – it answers all the questions!
Nic Striped Dress by Market & Spruce
We are planning on hitting the town one (or two) of the nights that we are there and added “going out dress” to the packing list. I really wanted some fun dresses that would work for that event but also work for my life. It is very important to me to have several uses in mind when I buys something so that I get my bang for my buck. This dress is stunning (and I really thought it would be too small/ not flattering) but I put it on and fell in love! Now all I need is a glass of white wine in my hands 😉
Kipp Printed Dress by Market & Spruce
Next up on the list is another stunning (super Santa Fe esque) dress that is %100 my style for all the time. I’ll use this on another night out or just a Farmer’s Market stroll on Saturday! PS: I love LOVE that the stylists include cards to help you put together other outfits. #sohelpful
Latasha Cut Out Detail Knit Top
Okay, so I have a thing for blue and for stripes and I just cannot help this. I unfolded this shirt and instantly feel in love but the best part was the super fun cutout on the back! This will work for fun and for work so it is winning in all my books. I might pair it with floral for the weekend – be on the look out!
There was another top that I just wasn’t feeling and a pair of skinny jeans that I had to return since I already have a blue jean problem. Overall, this box was wonderful and my stylist did such a great job! It was so fun to get this right before a trip without stressing about trying to fit shopping in or anything like that.
Have you ever tried Stitch Fix before? Are you intrigued? If you are wanting a chance to try it, try scheduling it a week or two before a trip and let your stylist know all about it! You might be surprised what happens!!
That first dress is amazing! I’m going to pin it to my stitch fix board as BIG hint for my stylist. I’m headed to San Antonio for a conference/catching up with my bff who just moved there a few months ago!
Thanks so much! You totally should! That will be so fun! Enjoy the warm weather!!
This box was amazing!! I love stitch fix, but it gets pretty expensive fast. I’m glad you got such a cute box! 🙂
Autumn @ Stay gold Autumn
Yes! But I love there referral program! It is pretty easy to get a couple referrals and save on your box! I also don’t get them every month !
Your fixes look amazing on you! It’s such a wonderful feeling when you get a box and everything works!
Thanks so much!! I totally agree!
SO cute!! Love all three of these things!
Thank you so much!!!
I love the two striped items! I have such a weakness for stripes! They all look wonderful on you!
Thanks so much! I have a striped weakness as well!
