Coconut Margaritas

I am not super into mixed drinks but I do think they are pretty (just look at these pictures) and I always order a margarita when I go to On the Boarder with my mom. I have never made a mixed drink at home and I thought that needed to change especially when I get my cute bar cart to hold all the pretty liqueur bottles that I will own (starting with that pretty bottle of tequila I picked up for this post!) With summer sneaking up on us, my friend encouraged me to try a new spin on a typical margarita – a coconut margarita! Seriously, all this baby needs is a beach and the summer sun! YUM.

WHAT YOU NEED
SERVES 2-4

3 (ish) Cups of ice
1/2 Cup Coconut Milk (the kind in a can)
1/4 Cup lime juice
1/4 Cup tequila (*more or less to taste)
3 Tbs bakers sugar
4 Drops of essential lime oil
1 lime
Salt or sugar for rim

HOW TO
1. Cut up lime for garnish

2. Mix ice, coconut milk, lime juice, tequila, bakers sugar, and essential oil together in a blender. 
3. Use a bowl or plate to wet the rims of the glasses and cover in sugar or salt. I do this by placing my glass upside down in a plate of water and then rolling the edges in a small bowl of salt. 
4. Pour in mix.
5. Add straws and limes. Enjoy!

I use lavender for everything! cuts, bruises, calmness, sleep, eczema, everything!

I want to start using Lavender in homemade deodorant. It's just tea tree oil, lavender, and 91% grade alcohol mixed together.

I just started using oils, so the gift card would come in handy! I will say that the lavender oil totally took care of a horrible burn I got on my finger! It was big, read, and blistered one day, and the next (after the oil), it didn't even look like i had a scar!
